Apulian taralli
They can be flavored in many ways, for example by adding fennel seeds, origan, chili, dried onions, crumbled dried tomatoes

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS
500 g flour 00
100 ml water
150 ml extravirgin olive oil
50 ml dried white wine
A spoon of fennel seeds


PROCEDURE:
Put the flour on the rolling board, pour the oil, the wine and a pinch of salt into the middle of it. Add the ingredients chosen to flavor taralli. Knead to get a homogeneous and smooth misture. Divide the misture into different portions, make some small strings and cut strings 8 cm long, take both ends and close them, forming a ring. Heat the oven at 200°. Boil salt water, put a few taralli into it and take them out as soon as they come t the surface. Put them on a clean teacloth. Line up the taralli in a oiled baking tin and bake for 20 minutes until they are browned
